Most kids outgrow their asthma. True or false?

If you’re a parent to a kid with asthma, don’t hold your breath because, unfortunately, most of our kids will NOT outgrow their asthma… which means our answer is FALSE.

Studies have shown that only one in five children may outgrow their asthma, and even so, it’s likely that symptoms will resurface in adulthood.

So who is more likely to get a pardon or (fingers crossed) permanent relief? Kids who don’t have severe asthma, or kids who don’t have asthma PLUS allergies, eczema or a family history of any of these ailments.

The good news is that researchers are working hard to find a cure, so asthma parents, let’s hold out hope. And should you need assistance in managing your kid’s asthma, easy-to-understand articles and info are available on AllerMates website, so please visit us.

All the best,

Iris
