Shaking Things Up at CVS Health Stores With New, Exciting Changes for Kids with Food Allergies!
AllerMates is proud to have now been on CVS Health stores’ shelves for over three years offering our popular allergy bracelets and colorful cases to hold kids allergy medicine!
My little team and I have been dedicated to educating parents and children and advocating for food allergy awareness for years, so being able to partner with CVS Health has been validation that all our efforts were worthwhile. We’re so excited that CVS has recognized kids with food allergies as an important issue and given us the opportunity to provide them tools and resources they need to stay informed and safe. So we’ve decided to celebrate our three-year anniversary with CVS Health by shaking things up a bit and making changes to our allergy and asthma bracelets and even our packaging! Our retail packaging has been redesigned for a cleaner, easier to read look so parents can get the product information they need quickly. Want to stop by and see our new look? Visit your local CVS health and come find us (and P.Nutty!) in the cold and allergy aisle.
Not only will our packaging look different from the outside, but you’ll notice a few extra surprises on the inside of our allergy bracelets! We know that taking kids with food allergies to restaurants can be challenging and stressful for parents. What should your kids order? How do you make sure the staff is aware of your child’s food allergies? That’s why in each box of our peanut allergy and tree nut allergy bracelets, you will find a free restaurant card for kids with food allergies. These cards allow you to quickly communicate if your child has any of the top 8 most common food allergies, with an option to write in any additional allergens. With the help of these useful cards, you will no longer fear that your child’s food allergies will get lost in translation to a server or chef while dining out! What a relief!
That’s not all! Since we’re in the season of giving, we decided to throw in a few more special features. Our asthma bracelets will now come with a wallet-size asthma action plan so you can be prepared even while on-the-go! Our allergy bracelets as well as our medicine cases (for allergy medicines like EpiPens or asthma inhalers) will now come with a unique product web code which parents can use to access exclusive informational resources on food allergies and special product offers online at myallermates.com. We pride ourselves on keeping our website up to date with the latest in food allergy news, so you’ll never have to tirelessly search Google for information again!
Here at AllerMates, we’re on a never-ending mission to keep kids with allergies safe, and we’re always looking for new ways to do so! That’s why we’re excited to announce our upcoming AllerMates Alert App, available in the spring and free to those who have already registered their product code online at www.myallermates.com! This app will give parents the power to protect their kids. With a press of a button, notify teachers, friends and coaches of any food allergies or other health concerns your child may have and put your worries to rest.
As always, we love hearing feedback from our customers, so tell us, what do you think of AllerMates’ new and exciting changes?
xoxo
