DID YOU KNOW?

The 2nd and 3rd stings are usually worse than the 1st. Once people are stung for the first time and find out they’re allergic, it becomes super important to avoid stinging insects as best as possible and always carry emergency meds!

It’s BIZZZY with the insect allergy buzz!

So, the word around town is that you are allergic to insect sting (aka bee sting, wasp sting) or want to know more about it. Well, you’ve come to the right place. My name is Bizzzy, and I’ve got the buzz on insect stings for kids with allergies. After all, I am the boss down at Stingers Inc., but don’t worry… you’re safe with me.

Now I need you to listen up. I’ve got dinner reservations with my wife at Honeycombs. She’ll squash me if I’m late so I must be quick. Getting stung by a wasp, yellow jacket, hornet or one of my other employees is painful, even if you aren’t allergic to insect stings. That means it’s stupendously painful for those that do have the allergy. You never know where these pesky critters might be lurking – above your door, on your swing set or even in your drink! So my best advice to you is be very aware when playing outdoors.

The fine folks at AllerMates have some other helpful tips, and they’ve created a lot of cool things to help you learn to be safe AND have fun. So kick back, check out the links to the left and come back as often as you’d like.

Uh-oh, that’s my wife calling. Gotta fly.
